Workshops for Educators
Storytelling is a natural educational method and tool. Katie draws from her teaching teachers and from her own classroom experience teacher and speech and language pathologist.

      Storytelling, Literacy and The Arts
      Storytelling in the Curriculum

This course has changed my teaching and my life for the better...
Of all the courses I took when obtaining my masters degree, Storytelling in the Curriculum was a crown jewel.
Every day, I find myself using the techniques I learned to engage my students.
Jennifer S. Traverso, 4th grade teacher, student from Katie Green's class at Fitchburg State College

"More than 90% of the faculty commented that this was the most effective
workshop they had attended in some time, and the handouts were a helpful
resource to use in their classrooms."
Jennifer Jones, Director of Arts & After School Programs, Fitchburg Public Schools

Workshops for Parent-Teacher Organizations
Katie excels at listening to people and discerning their needs because of her experience as a speech and language pathologist, educator, and mediator.

   Workshop topics:
Telling Stories that Foster Communication and Literacy
Get Un-plugged: Storytelling and Storytelling Games
The Bedtime Story: A Gift of Love
Celebrating Family: Passing on Our Stories

"Your workshop was a boost for parents and children. I went right home and told my child a story.
We both loved the experience. Thank you."
